Last Monday, April 5th, at 6:21 AM I stood in the dark at our marina on the Indian River Lagoon in Florida with my husband, sister-in-law and brother-in-law to watch the space shuttle Discovery launch. It was breathtaking to see the fiery glow of the rockets lift into space carrying seven precious lives on board. Along with a number of others there, I breathed a prayer for their safety. Not five minutes later, after the delayed thunderous boom was heard, the winds blew the rocket's long contrail into this astonishing dove formation. As the sun rose, the sky blushed pink and the dove cloud remained for nearly 20 minutes as we watched. As wonderful as the launch was, the dove cloud surpassed it.
God's artwork? You decide. I stood there thinking how "the heavens declare the glory of God."
